The advanced high voltage power supply in a compact size offers plenty of more functions than traditional rack-mount high voltage models. And, featuring low ripple and noise half or less than the traditional models, the series is suited for a wide range of applications.

Digital Interfaces
There has been an increasing demand for reducing manpower using the digital control in the automated inspection/measurement.
HARS series comes with the standard LAN and USB communication interfaces (as for models at 10 kV or less of the rated output voltage), and it is ideally designed for automation of development and automated testing. RS-232C/RS-485 Optical interface board is provided as an option. (GPIB is also available with using CO series that is sold separately.)
Reliable functions
The safety comes first in using the high voltage power supply. That is, the perfect protections are absolutely necessary.
In HARS series, interlock, arc tripping, variable OVP and OCP are standard function that enhance more product safety. The protections are available by switching in accordance with user applications.
Low ripple (0.05%p-p)
Featuring low ripple and noise (half or less than the traditional models), the series is ideally suited for applications where low ripple is required such as electron beam, ion beam, detectors, etc.

Extensive remote functions
The HARS series features controlling the high voltage with the output voltage and the output current, the output ON/OFF, the monitor output, and the status output with the high voltage. The series also provides users with the safety interlock feature as standard. External inter face (10 kV or less of LAN and USB) and PC control by 10 kV or less of RS-232C/RS-485 (Option) are also available.
Moreover, the system integration can be easily established together with different measurement devices and control systems, which will promote research and development efficiently. And, using our DC low voltage power supplies and AC power supplies in combination with the product is a per fect way of simplifying system construction.
